Message I'm aware this wouldn't be your ideal setup, but it's mine...so please just bare with me here. You can skip down to the last pgh for questions.

Found a fantastic deal on 18x10 wheels. i WAS supposed to buy these 18x9 veilside wheels off stanceworks today but the guy messaged me back saying they already sold. Andrew racing v's for 850 shippped, unbelieveable. My favorite wheels, for a steal of a price, sold. :(

Anyway, So i was looking around for wheels, and I have made my final decision, here they are:

FWIW it says "AmericanMuscle" on the centercaps, as that's the company that manufactures them. But for the price of the wheels, and only 24 pounds per wheel, it's not bad. Whatsoever. the money left over can be used to be creative with the center caps, or to just get TSW centercaps or something. IDK, not really a concern.

I'm aware of the basics, hub centering rings, tires that fit, blah blah. Let's not go down the tangent of Cast vs forged either; I've looked for forged and cannot afford forged, and since these wheels have a lifetime structural warranty, i don't think I could go wrong with them. I would opt for the TSW nurburgrings, but I'd rather save the extra 500 for the new spoiler i must replace my decaying stock TT spoiler with. I'm getting better wheels later, this is just to make use of the 18" tires i currently have (265/35/18)

Anyway, the fitment will be this:

- 18x10 square, hopefully
- center bore is irrelevant to discussion, but if you must know it's 70.5-70.8mm
- 7.4" backspacing (187mm)
- Offset is +48

I'm trying to put together a semi-aggressive fitment. I currently am sitting on RSR springs, and I plan to cut a half coil off them to get the car to sit about 1.5" lower than it is. I drove a 98 legacy gt with the stock springs cut by the previous owner, by alot, and the top of the springs would be an inch away from the top hat when the car was in the air, and I lived. so i think I'll be fine. I don't mind a bouncy ride, it's not a track car, yet.

**(Coilovers planned for next year, come tax returns or shortly thereafter, this is for looks now while I'm short on cash.)

My questions are:
-Will they poke TOO much or be just right for an 18x10 +48 wheel in the front?
-Will the front wheels clear the inner suspension components? I know the rears should fit without too much fender work. I'm buying a fender roller and have a heat gun, and my paint sucks, i'm not afraid to do a roll or pull.
-if the car's effectively sitting about 2-2.5" lower, how should camber be affected? I can get camber arms if I need to, but if it's only like 2 degrees negative, then It should be fine, if anythign more than 2, or if it's not upright enough to get flush with the fender, I'll get the arms.

If it happens the 18x10 will not clear the fronts without a spacer that I don't have, then I'll just get the 18x9 +30's and call it a day.
